Alexandre Garrett, principal of Pitch110, has more than 16 years marketing communication experience. She has a solid public relations background including work with consumer, nonprofit, high-tech, software, hardware, telecommunications, real estate, authors, yachts, education and venture capital accounts. Alexandre has provided counsel to clients including Coors Brewing Company, Cold Stone Creamery, Shambhala Mountain Center, Zenger Analytics, the Boulder College of Massage Therapy, Rally Software, Jibbitz, Colorado Garden & Home Show, Goodacre & Co. Real Estate, Coldwell Banker, SignalSoft, Point B, Portus Funds (Boutique Apartments), Open Studios, Enhanced Capital Partners, Colorado Music Festival, the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business, John Shors (author of the book Beneath A MarbleSky), and VICORP (Bakers Square Restaurants).
Prior to starting her own Public Relations business, Alexandre was the public relations manager for SignalSoft Corporation, a high-tech telecommunications software company located in Boulder, Colo. While at SignalSoft, she increased mentions in the media by 80 percent and secured interviews with major business publications. She developed and implemented public relations plans for both the United States and Asia/Pacific and was awarded a Public Relations Society of America Silver Pick Award for her management of a web conference entitled, “E911 in the Wake of September 11th.”
Prior to SignalSoft Corporation, Alexandre was the public relations manager for OnStream, a high-tech tape drive company in Longmont, Colo., where she experienced the fast-paced environment of a start-up company and wore many hats from public relations manager to trade show manager. Due to her extensive knowledge of the company’s products and her marketing experience, she was sent to the company’s European headquarters in London, England to oversee and execute marketing programs and to ensure that the company’s message was consistent across all continents.
Alexandre began her marketing career in trade show management and quickly proved that her management skills combined with negotiation and strategy resulted in successful marketing programs. In addition to her busy travel schedule, she authored articles for Exhibitor Magazine and taught three seminars at The Exhibitor Show. She was selected as one of the “Top Four Exhibit and Event Managers” by Exhibitor Magazine and also held the position of conference chairperson of the Exhibitor Show Advisory Board.
Alexandre earned her bachelor’s degree from UCLA.
